Then, try to differentiate when to use the noun and the adjective + -ing because this greatly affects the comprehensiveness of the sentence. ^^ I think the correction would better illustrate this. Lastly, its better to use the word \"impulsively\" in this case rather than \"spontaneously\" because \"impulsively\" both means \"foolishly\" and \"without preparation\" unlike \"spontaneously\" which only addresses \"without preparation\". ^^
