Since jame's father was ill in bed, her family is always depressed. A few days ago, her father failed in buseness and then he went down with paralysis because of the shock after all. her father whose half body is paralyzed can't get about well. And he got a speech disorder as an aftereffect. He got more reticent eve though he is a man of few words. His clouded eyes looked only the ceilling of the room all day. One winter day, James, the older brother of Jane, received a letter of the result and came back home. (I have a question. I want to say that letter what i mentioned. um.. When you pass a exam for university or something, you get a paper. "congraturations on passing the exam! blah blah blah.... I don't know what i have to call it. please let me know!) "Good job, Jmaes! Thank you!" Mother was pleased with his result. However, she couldn't hide her gloomy face soon after.
