Adverbs of time are usually put at the end of the sentence (e.g.: recently, now, then, yesterday). Some time expressions are adverbs of frequency (always, never, usually ). These are usually put before the main verb. ^ ^ 

About Gender and sex; they are synonymous.  You can either say Sex Discrimination or Gender Discrimination; it\'s just that Gender Discrimination is most commonly used. Maybe because it sounds better! ^ ^
