If you could change one major historical event, what would it be? I recently watched a movie about Korean IMF currency crisis. In 1997, many companies went bankrupt because of lack of foreign currency. If I could change a past event, I would like to eliminate that event from our history. Because my parents\' generation undergo the event when I was young. And I was told they told me they were too hard to overcome it. I heard suicide rate was extremely increased than former year(1996). The government looked on their people\'s business because they wanted to save major companies in Korea. They were very selfish so people felt the government betrayed their people. I think the most important thin when it comes to nations is trust. We must not repeat that situation. PS. I considered another event which is about Japanese colonial era for this topic. But I guessed I would be angry so I didn\'t pick that topic. ^^ See you tomorrow!

Hi [이름]! Thank you for doing your homework and being consistent with it. I appreciate it! ^ ^

It\'s nice that you recognize your feelings towards certain things and topic and would rather not talk about it because it makes you angry. But don\'t you think the past is already behind and there is no reason to be angry anymore? ^ ^ Just kidding!

Well, I\'m not quite familiar with this currency crisis, but thank you! You made me think and I would want to learn and read more about this part of Korea\'s history! ^ ^
