Is gender discrimination rampant in your country nowadays? If yes, what are the things Korean people should do to avoid this. Give some examples. Yes, It still widely spread. Korea is influenced by the Cofucian culture developed by Confucius. I can't believe that we modern people who live in 2015 are having hard time because of this old-fashioned idea like thousands years ago. Tradition is important, of course. But it's time to change from the old to the new as time passes. We, Korean women still have alot of difficulties in getting jobs if you got married or in state of pregnancy. To solve this phenomenan, the transperency of the firm should be increased alot and also senior officials must admit that all employees have their rights to live their own lives after working enough at workplace.
