It is a dilemma. The electricity is needed for people to conveniently live. The ecosystem also have to conserve since we live in there. Both are necessary for people. Instead of the dams, other nations would erect several nuclear power plants. It don't directly damage the environments. But the damage of the nuclear power plants continuously and seriously affects to the environments and humans. I think it is not an alternative plane too. We have to find out a clean energy without damaging the environments. Until now, though there are many methods to product the electricity, these have the low efficiency, for example, the sun power, the wind power and the ground heat power. Therefore, in the point-of-view on the government, building the dams is very a simple and fast policy to satisfy the needs of the electricity. But I think if the government wants to erect more dams nowadays,it should be seriously considered.Although it would be heard as easily saying about this,I think we have to do it.

Hi, [이름]! ^^
Thank you very much for writing in our composition board and sharing your opinion.
I agree with you when you said the environment and electricity are both important.
The environment is important because it is where we live in.
It is our habitat.
Electricity on the other hand is also important because in this day and age, almost everything that we use requires electricity to work.
While creating dams is an excellent way to answer our problems in electricity shortage, it is not a very good way to generate electricity because in order to create one, large areas of land should be cleared out.
Animals are forced out of their natural home/habitat.
Plants and trees are killed.
As a result, different species of animals and plants go extinct and die.
We experience an imbalanced ecosystem that lead to climate changes.
In my opinion, there are other effective and safer means to generate energy and electricity aside from dams and power plants.
To name a few, we have solar panels, windmills and biogas.
In addition to this, we could also generate electricity through the soil/earth.
The reason why the government opt to create dams is because it\'s easier for them.
On top of that, big projects such as this one would allow them to embezzle more money.
Of course, that\'s a different matter.
But if the government would look closely and consider the importance of preserving our environment more than their personal interests, then they would come up with strategies that would result to a win-win situation.
Anyhow, this is just my opinion regarding this matter.
I hope you\'re having a good day. See you again tomorrow.
Take care.
