The nuclear energy is powerful and dangerous. It has two kind of faces. The nuclear energy could be changed into a weapon that might devastate all of things in our planet. On the other hands, the nuclear energy is used to heal the cancel, called by the radiation therapy. Some bureaucrat say that the nuclear is more clean and more convenient and efficient energy than other energy resources. But they don't say the garbage after using the nuclear resources. We have to contain it as well as prohibiting to radiate under the ground or into the deep side. But we could not ignore the fact that it is very powerful. In Korea, there are many nuclear power plants. But I don't kwon whether these are well controlled or managed in some rules or not. It's because they don't discover the fatal information. Anyway, whether the nuclear is safe or not, it is very powerful. But we now know that it has serious problems. And then we have to find some energy resource to be able to replace the nuclear.

I absolutely agree with you when you said nuclear energy is both helpful and dangerous. But I think it primarily depends on how people would use it. When people would use it as a weapon, then it is guaranteed to kill people by the thousands or even millions. But if people would use it for the purpose of providing energy or medical treatment, then it would be very helpful provided that the toxic wastes derived from it are contained well. It is really a controversial matter because the people who want to use this source of energy have different motives and purposes. Those who are ruled by greed want to use it as a weapon. Those who are dedicated to growth and improvement want to use it for progress. Anyhow, this is my opinion about this matter.
