It's a non-sense. You are periodically checked the state whether it is appropriate to drive a car or not. I don't agree with a thought that someone who get older has to reapply for the license. Of course, if all get older, we would be getting worse on a sight ability and listening ability. Therefore, we have to check ourselves in order to get safety in driving the car. If older people have to reapply to get the license when they get older, the problem is how to determine the age for reapplying. Another problem is the fact that in younger people there are many people having bad sight or listening ability. Don't they need to reapply? If they don't need it, how to balance with older people. There are many problem. First of all, The thing that is very important is how to determine the age. Someone has a good ability, but someone has a bad ability. Maybe, we could not reach the conclusion. We are getting older and there is no exception. We live in a society, therefore we have to get along.

It is true that with old age comes a weaker sight, slower reflexes and weaker hearing ability. However, in my opinion, instead of just requiring the older people to reapply for the driver\'s license, why don\'t they just require everybody to undergo a test and implement it every year before renewing the license? That way, nobody is exempted. Nobody is subjected to prejudice and everybody is fairly assessed. Anyhow, that is my opinion regarding this matter. I hope you\'re having a great day.
