I totally disagree with the opinion that learning about the past has no value for those of us living in the present. Basically, people tend to forget easily especially bad things that happened in the past. So, we must learn about the past to prevent bad things from happening again in the present and the future. Also, we can learn what we haven't experienced from the past so that we can make the better result. In a nutshell, I strongly believe learning about the past is crucial for all generations of people to lead better life and for the happiness.
