Yes, I agree with it. The foreign languages are good tools as you can freely do something in the world. When I was young, I neglected it so that I did't study hard. It's my mistake. After graduating school, I want to find a good job and I want to do something without restricting a national boundary. But the one thing that I faced with was the foreign language. Especially, English is very useful tool to carry out our dream in the world. Many countries have their native language, but english is very commonly used in the world. Therefore, even if I don't know their language, I can use english as a communication tool instead of their language. Recently, I feel that the world is very small area to accomplish my dreams. Therefore, I hope that my kids get an ability to freely communicate with foreigners. And I hope to get the ability too. So, I still study english.The foreign language is very sticky since I have used only my language for a long time.So,in my head there is no room for another.

I also agree that learning a foreign language is important. For us Asians, learning the English is very useful since English is now considered as a global language and the primary mode of communication. Schools in my country use English as their main tool of instruction because of this primary reason. We only study and use our native language, which is Filipino, in one subject; but for the other subjects such as science, math and history,  we use English. I guess that\'s a good thing because students easily learn how to use the English language simply through repetition. It is true that knowing how to speak another language aside from your own is very advantageous because it can give you more opportunities. Anyhow, that is my opinion in this matter.
