In Korea, there is a policy \'voluntary retirement\'. If those who were selected as the candidates for voluntary retirement, the company gives the money in months or annual salaries. If the country\'s or market economy is okay, it would be okay to find another job right away. But, most voluntary retirement is implemented when the market economy is extremely bad, so there is a risk that it is difficult to find another job. The company must have good reason to fire employees. Therefore, they evaluate the work performance for all employees every year. People in the lower ranks repeat education and evaluation, and they eventually have to go out. Sometimes a company makes embarrass employees who have failed a promotion to get out themselves. It is not moral, but not illegal. Some people say that the unemployment crisis of young people has occurred because dismissal is not easy in Korea and lazy people keep their jobs. We need a proper system between employment stability and activation.
