When people need to complain about a product or poor service. Some prefer to complain in writing and others prefer to complain in person. Which way do you prefer?

I prefer to complain in person. Many people buy their goods on internet these days.
Modern society is globalized on internet. So, most of people can handle the complain by online service. I think the world has become much easier to live in.
