Lies are invented for positive and negative purposes.

I believe that telling lies in any form is already bad, but sometimes, telling the truth is painful, ha! ha!

Q: Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Sometimes it is better not to tell the truth. Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

When I studied at WALES in the Philippines, I received this question during speaking test at second term.

And I just answered it depends on the situations. But now, I am writing it more with other reasons.

Most of the lie might make other following lies to cover previous lie since they don’t want to get their mistakes discovered.

 And then it becomes bigger to support weakness of the lie.

But adding lies will make them panic since they will meet paradox based on their falsehood.

 At that time, a person who made lies will lose truth from the others furthermore it might bring worse situations if they meet more since it is hard to establish broken trust again.

 Thus, I often suggest others to tell the truth and apology them about their mistakes sincerely if they ask me regarding of this kind of situations.

But on the other hand, lies will help people make happy.

We called it white lie.

 At that time, man has to say “you don’t need to lose the weight. I can’t find any part of your body to do going on a diet” even if he already knows she has got weight.

This white lie makes her happy.

Moreover, she will do diet although he said that she didn’t need it since to think about losing weight on their body in front of mirror is woman’s natural characteristic.

(I’m not sure about it but I have read it in an article. When woman stands in front of mirror they think their body fatter. On the other hand, man thinks their body muscular)

Anyways, as I mentioned at first, it just depends on the situations.
