An electric vehicle, also called an EV, uses one or more electric motors or traction motors for propulsion. An electric vehicle may be powered through a collector system by electricity from off-vehicle sources or may be self-contained with a battery, solar panels or an electric generator to convert fuel to electricity. Electric vehicles are expected to increase from 2% of the global share in 2016 to 22% in 2030. Electric vehicles cause many positive effects on our environment. Coal-fired power plants produce nearly twice the global warming emissions of natural gas-fired power plants, while renewable sources like wind and solar power produce virtually no emissions at all. According to the Union of Concerned scientists, 94 percent of people in the US live where driving an EV produces fewer emissions than using a 50 mpg gasoline car.It is proved in various researches that electric vehicles can be one of the solutions for global pollution.
