I think the custom is just a routine.
Some kinds of custom didn't originally exist, but someday it would start to exist without noticing.
In ancient Korea, the main religion was the buddhism.
From 500 years ago, the buddhism was prohibited in order to enhance the power of king and to build new empire.
Before the buddhism was prohibited, the funeral style was the cremation.
However, after prohibiting it, it changed into the burial.
The most popular funeral style is the burial in Korea.
Many old people worry about the burial after they die.
It's because all of them don't have a land to be buried.
On the other thought, 500 years ago many old people might not worry about the land.
It's because they would be cremated after dying.
500 years is very short if we see the history of human, but this duration is very long personally.
So, many people want to keep the custom, as if it is truth.
But it was not truth many years ago.
It was just a strange thing that no want to do at that time.
