I think shorter working hours are international trend. And a lot of studies and researches show that long-hour work or overwork doesn\'t ensure more productivity. Industrial accidents due to overwork or long hour work shrink workers\' productivity. In fact, according to the OECD, Korean workers overwork and surpass the global average of work hours.

Hi, Gi [이름]!

I agree! I think working longer hours sometimes exhausts us more, leading to poor performance and slower efficiency. Also, just a quick note on grammar, for the last sentence, instead of using ‘surpass,’ I changed it to ‘exceed.’ ‘Surpass’ means to go beyond or be better at something, like achievements, but ‘exceed’ means to go beyond a limit, so I think it’s better to use when talking about working hours.
