I think they should do that. They have to care about the environment and prepare future energy sources. I understand that energy-related companies destroy the environment to produce energy that we can use. They drill the crude oil and dig up nuclear materials on the earth. I have read an article that some companies plant trees that can produce as much CO2 as they used to produce their products. It is a very clever idea. We must destroy the environment in order to survive since human is not a positive existence for nature. However, we can alleviate environmental destruction and compensate for nature. Energy companies cannot stop producing energy from nature. But they can find new energy production methods that are less consuming and less environmentally damaging. Furthermore, they have to care environment additionally through some alternatives such as planting trees or another environmental conservation business. Companies and customers should take responsibility for the cost.
