Q: Some people think that in the modern world we are more dependent on each other, while others think that people have become more independent. Kindly give your opinion.

I don’t’ think we are more dependent on each other in the modern world.

That’s why people didn’t want to show their personal lifestyle to the others so they prefer to live in an apartment and the house with high wall.

Actually, the reason is not only living an independent but also it is more safety.

That’s because they would like to stay independently.

In the work places, I think people prefer to work alone since they already have enough stress owing to their own job and they don’t want to get an unexpected additional stress from their coworkers.

But all the things that I mentioned are in the Korea culture.

 That’s because I have some experiences gotten when I worked in Malaysia and I studied in the Philippines.

Taiwanese, Chinese, Malaysian, Filipino are willing to help the others even if they would have spending their time or money.

 But I don’t know about Japanese, based on my experience and feeling, I guess they more prefer to live independent than Korean.

Actually, I don’t know the other world’s cultures which I didn’t mention but I think cultures have been changed becoming more independent in Korea.
