When I was at the construction company, I had many drinking parties with my seniors. I had difficult times living day by day that’s because I couldn’t drink a lot. However, they didn’t cut me a slack in drinking. I had no choice but to drink as often and much as heavy drinkers did. On top of that, I had to get to work as early as 7 am the next morning even after drinking late with coworkers. To my surprise, not a single coworker who had drunk with me late the day before didn’t fail to attend the morning exercise before starting work. Anyway, the company culture of drinking alcohol scared me a lot at first, but I found myself adjusting to it without realizing it, and I had some symptoms of addition to it. Later, I could leave the construction company and its corporate culture of heavy drinking after moving to university. Besides above, the construction company had some unique corporate cultures For example, I could take some rest in a lounge whenever I felt tired even outside lunch.
