about myself
학생이 쓴 원문
I would describe myself as a good listener. I prefer listening other people's story to speaking mine. So my friends used to talk to me about their worries and troubles when I was a student. Now my students talk to me about things that they are getting through. They talk about every teen agenda that people can imagine. I think students just need an adult that they are able to share their concern and distress . They only need someone who are emphathetic for their interests. Actually I learn more about their culture and the way of thinking through my listening skill. I guess I have sort of special talent that makes people feel comfortable to open up.
I am also a patient person when I teach. I am able to keep explain the same content over and over until students finally get the gist of it. Because my mother know my personality, sometimes she wonders about how much I can endure troubled students in learning and school life. I am very tolerant even if students make stupid questions. I keep showing how much serious I am about teaching at the beginning of semesters. If I continue to present the attitude, students soon realized that and don't hesitate ask or answer questions.
I wasn't born to be a teacher, but I am happy to find a job that suits for my personality. Some people say that I look weak to be the teacher who discipline students well. However, I don't want to be on top of them. I just want to see the same direction with my students. I just do my best to narrow generation gap with them as much as I can.

Hello dear [이름]! Great teachers form strong relationships with their students and show that they care about them as people. Great teachers are warm, accessible, enthusiastic and caring. Teachers with these qualities are known to stay after school and make themselves available to students and parents who need them. They are involved in school-wide committees and activities, and they demonstrate a commitment to the school. These are some of the charactertisctics of a great teacher. So I think you are! Right? Anyway, I will talk to you later this evening. Enjoy and relax for now!
