Actually, I like to go to a new restaurant to experience some new foods. So, sometimes my husband and I used to go to a new restaurant that was introduced to the press. But generally, I prefer to go to familiar restautants. That means the foods in the restaurants is to my taste. I think there are advantages and disadvantages of both cases.
