Advice to high school students

When I recall my high school days, I do not have good memories, but rather gloomy images of the days came to my mind first. I went to the high school that operated the dormitory in which all students had to stay without an exception for three years until graduation. It was the school’s rule. Six students had to live together in one room, sleeping on the floor, not on a single bed. There was a morning and evening formation every day. All students had to get up at 6 o’clock and ran to the playground to attend the assembly. And then we had to practice Taekwondo for about an hour. If you were late to the formation, you would be punished. There were very strict regulations we had to follow such as going to bed 10 o’clock in the evening, wearing school uniforms, straightening the closet, getting an approval to go out the school even on the weekends, etc. It was just like a military boot camp. We had to show respect our seniors by saluting them wherever we ran into them.
