As a reader who has a different culture, I find this situation strange. In the Philippines, the word \"Ajumma\" or middle-aged woman is addressed as \"Ale\" (ah-le) which is a casual word used in calling a woman whom you do not know, but be very careful in using the word Mrs. (misez) because not all middle-aged woman is married and it might cause a slight conflict.
