How can I extend my vocabulary? Today, I don't wanna deal with article as I did, but just talk about my English ability. Nowadays, I feel that it is required for me to have a good command of English naturally. Thus, I have been trying to listen an article of PBS news hour for some months, one of the famous new programs in USA and think that it is very helpful for me. But, it is not perfect and it requires more time proficiently to speak the sentences that news anchors use to announce their article. The sentences are real words and I am looking for the time when I don't hesitate to select them for communication. I will keep continuing. Have a good night and see you.

Hello James!   Sometimes, it is hard to evaluate our own learning progress. There should be a standard for you to evaluate the progress. Keep on learning and practising, I believe there is definitely great progress. Most of the news is usually presented without subtitles, which makes it even harder for a non-native speaker to understand. If you want to improve at understanding the news, start by reading newspapers.
