Descendants of Product PLacement (PPL) One of the Korean drama is currently sweeping east-north Asia, descendants of sun. The drama infuses life into depressed Korean wave and hence it is received a favorable evaluation by many cultural experts. However, it is lately caught up in controversy due to excessive PPL advertisement. The controversial scene is the situation where a lead male character kisses his counterpart female one in a luxury sedan with turning on automatic drive mode. It seems too dangerous while it is supposed to be romantic. It might be important to keep contract with sponsor by exposing its product, the luxury sedan, but I think that it is obligatory to make viewer comfortable watching the drama during running time.
