Are there any holidays that you really don’t like?

Who doesn’t like holidays as long as you don’t need to go to work? A holiday means that you take the day off and spend the time for you and your family. If you are employed and get a paycheck regularly, you will expect more holidays because you get paid with less working. The story will be totally opposite if I were in an employer’s shoes. One of my friends is running his own business and hiring about 10 employees. He said that there are too many holidays and he hates them. Even a weekend comes so fast and there are a few working days. He feels like a payday comes too often and he has to pay them although they don’t work. I think there are about 10 national holidays except weekends in Korea. Some of them fall on weekends, so pure extra holidays will around 7 to 8 days a year. Some countries celebrate their own holidays that are very unique so that they cannot be found in other countries.Korea has a Buddha’s birthday and Children’s day that has been designated as a national holiday.

Hi there Sir [이름]!

Happy Wednesday. ^^

I appreciate that you sent me two compositions.

I totally understand the situation of an employer and an employee.

In my case, I do like holidays. But when it will be a really long off from work, that\'s the time I don\'t like it.

Maybe because I am not a home buddy person. I prefer traveling and going to the office. Hihihi.

I guess I feel that way because I want to save money and give my parents some surprises.

Anyway, we can talk about this in class. See you.
