Are you into branded items when shopping? How necessary is it to have a high-end branded item?

In my perspective, I believe that apparel from luxury brands can not be the best options. Usually, I choose the clothing I can wear for a long time, so I value quality, comfort, and design. Accordingly, I purchase designer goods, but I also have clothing from an internet website and fast retailing brands. The reason is that I learned from several experiences that the design of branded items could be quickly outdated. Many designers currently target the younger generation for profit, so the overall design can be flashy with bright coloring, which I do not prefer. For example, there has been a boom among teenagers regarding Gucci sneakers because of the patches and shade, but I found it very uncomfortable. However, I always tend to buy shoes from luxury fashion brands because there is an adage in Korea that good shoes bring you a piece of luck. Apart from sneakers, I tend to purchase other footwear from high-end brands.
