Catching a bad cold

I catch a bad cold yesterday.

OR: Yesterday, I caught a cold.

Yesterday,I played socer without wearing coat in the physical education class.

>> Yesterday, when we had our Physical Education class I played soccer without wearing my coat.

And it was windy day.

>> It was a windy day.

Some of my friends didn\'t wear coat like me but only 1 friend catch a cold.

>> Some of my friends didn\'t wear their coats but only one of them caught a cold.

He didn\'t wear coat like me.

>> Like me, he also didn\'t wear his coat.

Because of bad cold I didn\'t get good score at science and after class I went to the hospital and ate some medicine and snacks and slept for an hour.
