Cheating on your partner

Um Tough question. I have had a experience about girlfriend cheating on me. When I was in a military , my girlfriend told me she fall in love with my senior in UNIV By the time I listened to that , I got mad. I shouted and hung up the phone. Few weeks later she called me but I refused to answer. But she kept calling me. So oneday I answered her call. She sounded so sorry and told me that she regretted cheating on me. But I couldn't forgive her. If I cheated on my girlfriend by any chance , I would like her to forgive me. But If she did this to me , I wouldn't forgive her. It sounds quite selfish, But I am serious.
