It is one of the very symbols of summer season when cicadae sing. I want to write about it that learned from a book. Cicada’s life is quite different from other bugs which live longer on their stage of imagoes. Its larva lives under the earth beneath the root of a big tree for about sixteen years. When time has come it creeps high up to the tree’s trunk to become a pupa and then a cicada, which is alive for only a year on its imago stage. Traditionally Korean express the sound as “maem, maem,…when it sings, while Japanese feel its song as “min, min,….. But I don’t know how English expresses when it sings. cicada's life reminds me of its endurance when i encountered hardtimes.

This is a very interesting story. I didn't know that they actually live under the ground for 16 years before they creep up the trees. 16 years is a very long time. Wow!! thank you so much for sharing this information. Keep on passing compositions. Great job with this one by the way!! Keep it up!!!
