Good morning.
Yesterday, we talked about wedding, and because of my poor English, I didn't express enough about our wedding culture.
By this writing, I want to explain to you more about our weeding culture.
Here in Korea, when we attend a wedding, we have to give a monetary gift for the married friend.
It is just our tradition, and it helps bride and groom solve a huge expense of wedding.
Normally, we give USD50~USD100 as a gift at wedding.
Even if we can't attend their wedding for personal reasons, we are willing to pay it for them.
Of course, we can get back the money from them if we become the hero of wedding someday.
It is like a give and take. However, nowadays, this kind of culture is a big burden for people, and many people think that our wedding culture must change to simplification.
I also agree with that, and we should break vanity of wedding.
If I get married, I will consider holding my wedding with only a small ceremony.
