Dear my Teacher Paula, Happy Thursday! These days, you seem very busy and tired, so I am a little worried about your condition. However, it means that you have more students, and it is great news for you. I am also happy for you. Anyway, keep your health and don't make yourself so tired. See you this evening! *Essay In my opinion, it is good for us to study languages in schools. Here in Korea, we are being taught two languages in schools. One of them is English, and the other one is a second language like Chinese, Japanese and so on. Of course, which one I'd learn is at the discretion of the school. When I was in high school, I had learnt French, and there was an hour of regular curriculum every week. However, I forgot that totally, even I don't know how to pronounce the French alphabet. In my case, I was not interested in that, so I didn't put the importance on that. On the other hand, the way we were taught was not effective. We were trained to memorize words and grammars, and we struggled only to get good grades of it. I think it is not only a waste of time and efforts, but also meaningless things. Therefore, since we are getting the language education, our educational system must be changed to more effective method. The best way I think is that we can be allotted more time to speak in our class. In today's educational system, we lack the chance to speak, so we should focus on the more practical side of that.
