Good morning, Teacher Erine! As an extension of our class, I'd like to explain more about Chinses cultures to you. I went there in my 22 years old and it was my first time to go abroad. As soon as I got to the airport in Beijing, the first impression was not that good. First, air condition was bad and smoke pollution was a little bit serious. I even could smell something terrible. Moreover, I could see trash everywhere so felt that Chinese people don't give importance on the public health. Of course, current Beijing is not like that, even it is changed to the most advanced city. Second, Chinese people's personality is very slow. For example, I visited a bank and post office and I needed to deal with my business very urgently. However, staff there were not prompt in action. Now I come to think of it, they were a little bit slow in doing something just in comparison to Korean. In other words, Korean's personality is so hot tempered. ^^;; Finally, they really give importance on a relationship between people. It is called 'GUANXI' in Chinese and it is considered as the most important factor in dealing with a business related to public service. It means that there is nothing that we can't handle as long as we have a good relationship with top officials. However, I think it is a matter of degree so I had better not have a prejudice on that. ^^ Anyway, that is all for today and have a nice day! See you! ^^
