By the way, as an extension of our class, I'd like to explain our own characters Hangul to you. Because of my poor English skill, it seems like I didn't explain it perfectly. Whenever I get a difficult question, my brain seems to go blank. ^^;; Get to the point, our ancestors used Chinese characters in the old days but only few intelligent people could understand how to read and write it because there was no chance for ordinary people to study that. First of all, Chinese characters is composed two parts like sound and meaning. For example, 好 is one of Chinese characters and it means 'good' but it is read 'HO' in Korean pronunciation, of course, you should not relate it to current Chinese language. At that time, we already had our own pronunciation to express the meaning of 'HO' and it was pronounced 'Zouta'. In other words, Chinese characters had a concise meaning against the sound. Because of this logic, we needed to interpret what it meant to understand letters in the old days. How complicated it was! Now, we have our own characters and it is already considered as the proudest contribution internationally. I can say proudly that Hangul is the most scientific characters in the world.
