Good morning, Teacher!
When it comes to dialects here in Korea, we also have a lot of different types of dialects.
First of all, Seoul speech that is used in middle classes is considered as a standard language here.
In comparison to this Seoul speech, the others have different accents and vocabularies.
Even if there are some differences among them, we can still understand each other without any difficulties.
However, the dialect in Jeju island is totally different with what we are using in inland areas.
If older people living in Jeju use their own dialect, we are totally unaware of what the meaning is.
The reason why this difference particularly happens to the Jeju dialect is because the island is separated from our land geographically so maybe, it would be hard for each other to have cultural exchange for a long time in the old days.
However, we don't feel foreign with each other even if we use different dialects and we just consider this situation as an interesting trait.
Anyway, I will stop here for today and see you tomorrow!^^**

Hello, [이름]!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts about the dialects that you have there in Korea. In the Philippines, there are some people who are offended by the dialect used in different places. Others seem to be interested and I\'m one of those people.:) People are also good at learning a certain dialect. It is also believed that Filipinos have very flexible tongue that we can learn a dialect or language easily.
