Composition: should be forced to learn a foreign language?

I do not think that immigrants should be forced to learn that country’s language because even without being compelled to learn the country’s language, he/she will naturally make efforts by himself/herself to pick up the language to adapt to the new environments and get settled in the society. Necessity is the mother of invention. If he/she wants to get a job, be successful, get along with other local residents, he/she will definitely strive to learn the language. Especially in case of young kids, they go to school and they will eventually become fluent in speaking the country’s language although in order for them to reach the level, they might have to go through tough times. Immigrants have the right to choose if they want to learn the language. They should make their choice. They don’t have to be forced to learn it. Instead, the local governments and communities can offer free language classes so that they can voluntarily participate in such programs.
