Composition: slow living

I prefer to take the time and live life at a slower pace. I think everybody wants to live a slow life. However, situations force us to hurry up in modern society. At work, there is always a deadline. Even if there is no a due date, you need to reply or complete a task promptly, which is a general practice. Your boss and colleagues are expecting and they will praise your quick response. If you were late or slow, you would be assessed as a poor performer and your chances of getting a promotion would be lowered. So in order to survive and win the competition, we all have been fooled into thinking that we need or even must be fast. However, my personal characteristics tend to be a bit lazy. I’m sometimes late for a meeting or an appointment and often in a hurry because of leaving things till the last minute. Living a slow life does not mean the procrastination, but we’d rather need to prepare well in advance, so we can enjoy slow living lead a mindful life.
