Composition: travel alone or with a companion?

I generally prefer to travel with a companion although it might change depending on the purpose of the travel. Think about the objectives of the travel. Am I planning to take a travel to escape from the stressful city life and seek a time to reflect my life at a quite place? Or am I thinking of having fun during my vacation? My cases are often the latter, so I like to travel with my friends or family. Traveling alone would be lonely, often causes a trouble going to a restaurant by myself, or even sometimes dangerous to stroll at a strange place. Traveling with your friends brings a lot of benefits such as lesser cost by doing together, sharing the joy of seeing exotic scenes, talking about the people, culture, things you encounter at a new place, etc. Your friendship with them will be much stronger by sharing the same memory of traveling together. Even for an emergency case, your companion can be of great help. Travel together and your joy will be doubled.
