When it comes to work, I believe conflict is not only avoidable, but also very helpful to achieve the goal. Because it is the evidence of sound discussion with variety of ideas.
Then the important thing is how to manage it. And I have an own solution.
My solution is that when I have conflict with others, try to communicate more
My company starts at 9:00, so most of employee come to office at 8:30. But I am the person usually the first to get office. I usually have a coffee chat with someone who come early. The time spent with colleague make friendly atmosphere which can make understand others better.
And also my varies hobbies and interests can help me spend time with others. I can find same interest better than others.
I have a confidence even if I have a work related conflict with someone, I can resolve that in my interpersonal skills.
