Question: In your opinion, should the government push through with the health care reform? Why or why not? Answer: These days, south Korean government is trying to push through with the health care reform that includes the proposal to boost the number of medical students and the plan to establish public medical schools. The government says that the measures are necessary to strengthen the healthcare system in south Korea by increasing the number of doctors in unpopular but important fields of medicine. However, I strongly oppose the government\'s plan in the point that the plan lacks the consideration for improving working environment. In fact, the intensive workload and working environment are the main factors that force medical personnel to leave the field so quickly. Therefore, I am sure that the government\'s attempt to entice more students to the field of medicine will turn out to be ineffective in the long run.
