Dear. Lirah, Today, I want to tell you about Jesa, Korean tradition. It is something like a sacrificial day. In Korea, after someone died, we have his or her memorial ceremony on the same day of every year from next year. We call it, Jesa. Because the day is a holy day, we clean a house and clean our mind. And we also prepare special foods. After then, people, who are uncles, aunts and other kin, talk about memory of the person while they have meals together. Apart from this, there are two Korea’s traditional ceremony, Seol-Nal(New-Year) and Chuseok(Thanksgiving day). Both of them is the most important and famous ceremonies in Korea.

Dear [Name],   I am very pleased to learn about one of your traditions. It is very interesting and actually we also have a similar tradition here in my country. We call it All Saints Day and it happens every first day of November. This day is also a holiday, where in we clean the tomb of our dead family members. We also prepare special food and relatives from  different places will come and join us in remembering the good memories we had with our dead family member. Aside from this we also rember the death anniversary of our dead family member. Death anniversary is the exact date our family member died and we remember it every year.   We also celebrate New Year but only some people celebrates Thanks Giving because most of my people would rather have a grand celebration on Christmas Day.
