Happy Friday. TGIF. We talked about teachers in Korea. Koreans are tend to put education before anything else. Especially when economy situation is bad, people invest education more. There are two types of teachers, school teacher and Hakwon(Private cram school aka academy) teacher. In my case, I majored in electronics when I was a university student. There wasn't choice to be a school teacher. That's why I became a teacher in Hakwon. Now I'm also a part time student of English literater. After I graduate from this university, I can be a school teacher but I don't feel like becoming school teacher. School teachers don't have much flexibility. They should folow what gevernment orders. The quality of public education is still bad. So many students attend Hakwon. What I want is make student learn how to enjoy English even though it takes much time and effort. Bye. ^^
