Hey, hello again. We are short of time, aren't we? Ten minutes is really short for us to talk about any topics. Speaking of the book I read yesterday, Vegetarian was originally published here in Korea about 10 years ago by Korean author Hankang, which was not that popular. This year, however, it was translated in English again by the Briton named Deborah Smith who has got doctors' degree in London university majoring in Koreanology. Finally the book translated in English has been awarded Man Booker Prize, which is one of the most influential prizes in the world.(3 major international literary prizes: Nobel literary prize, Goncourt Prize, Man Booker Prize) The most shocking news was Deborah Smith first began to study Korean only 5 years ago. Frankly, while I was reading the book, I couldn't imagine how she translate all the intricate things in English. I am sorry I couldn't describe all the story lines specifically. Why don't you search the information through the Internet?
