Did you ever feel that your human rights are being violated?
학생이 쓴 원문
I’m used to living at the current settings, so I do not feel what my human rights are being violated. Korea is a divided country and we are still at technically war. Our freedom of speech is restricted under National Security Law. We are not allowed to act in favor of North Korea’s interests. We cannot travel to North Korea without a prior permission from the government. We should be very careful about criticizing the government. Korea is not an only country where human rights are restricted. We can safely say there is not one single country in this world where human rights violations do not occur. It is a sad fact that everyday in every country of this world, be it developed or developing, human rights violations against human beings take place. The type of violations that are committed may differ, depending whether the country is at war or in peace time. But, all governments should hold themselves accountable for protecting human rights of all their citizens, especially minorities.

It\'s a fantastic afternoon Sir [이름]!
I was able to know more about Korea because of your composition.
Actually, I never heard any story about North Korea from my students.
Now, I know the reason why.
There are times that a person\'s right is being violated but he/ she can\'t do anything.
I appreciate your opinions everyday. Thanks to you!
Take Care!
