According to statistics, more than two-thirds of the entire population across the world are under lockdown of a kind in order to halt the further spread of COVID-19. The proportion will even surge if the number of people allowed to go outside yet should observe social distancing is added. As media coverage illustrates, many people are suffering from mental fatigue caused by the prolonged stay-at-home order and social distancing which still aren\'t expected to be lifted any time soon. What makes the situation even worse is the fact that a number of employees have been and is going to be laid off from their workplaces due to the devastating economic impact mainly attributed to the lockdown. Since the overall mobility of people and goods becomes extremely restricted, many corporations are going out of business, especially the ones in the aviation industry as well as hospitality industry are the hardest hit. We should figure out how to endure these ordeals wisely and collectively.

Social distancing is crucial for slowing the spread of the virus, but of course this is totally unnatural to our very social species. Like you mentioned, it can trigger mental issues like depression. Not only that, but I think other mental health concerns and a variety of health problems as well. It\'s a good thing that we are now in the digital world. Texting, email, and apps like Skype and FaceTime can definitely help people stay in touch. But, I wonder if this can compensate. What else can we do?
