Do people generally prefer to eat in hotels or in restaurants? Why?

I actually prefer to eat at home, although I don’t dislike occasionally going to a good restaurant or a hotel. Eating at a good place makes us feel so special and well treated. That is why men usually make a reservation for a good restaurant or a hotel for his date on a special day. However, we can sometimes be disappointed at eating such places due to poor quality of food or service because the high price or their good reputation doesn’t always guarantee excellent food or service. Most hotels charge high price for foods, however, food or service are even worse than just a small restaurant in your neighborhood. The thing is that even if you found a good restaurant, you will easily get tired of eating the same food at the same place if you go there too often. And the Law of Diminishing marginal Utility applies. As you increase consumption of a product, there is a decline in the marginal utility that you derive from consuming each additional unit of the product.
