Yes, we need other people in order to understand ourselves better. We sometimes don’t realize how blessed and fortunate we are because we are just used to living this way. We often become realize and be touched when we see or hear stories about the people who live successful lives by overcoming various difficulties. There is a Chinese proverb that in order to be happy, don’t look up to wealth people only but look at the people who make all their efforts to make a living. The poor on TV looks a happiest person although they owe less than us. Moreover, we often fail to assess ourselves objectively. We are quite generous to ourselves, so we have blind eyes to our shortcomings. We can change our self-conception when we see ourselves through other’s eyes. Part of the discrepancy arises because the outsiders’ perspective affords information you yourself miss. By soliciting feedback from other people, we can learn more about ourselves and how we're coming off. We're are biased by our need.

Good afternoon, Sir [이름]!

Happy Thursday. ^^

How are you today?
I hope you feel better today than yesterday.
In my case, I am suffering from sore throat, colds and cough.
But I can still manage having classes.

I will do my best to be a good teacher even if I feel bad. ^^

Thanks for an inspiring essay again.

We should be thankful for what we have.

Have a great day.
Teacher Nina
