Do you agree that students should be held legally responsible for bullying in schools. Why or why no

I am not 100% sure, but many countries have already legislated against school bullying. It is not just a process of growing-up but a crime to bully a weak student. Bullying in school is a serious problem and as we have witnessed many student have actually taken their own lives because of it. The perpetrators are legally responsible for their behavior even if they are juvenile offenders. A bully might not aware of the seriousness of his bullying, however it is painful enough for the bullied to think about suicide. Kids who are picked on can suffer terrible emotional and physical abuse. Most student who are being bullied don’t seek support from their teachers or even parents because they believe it won’t make any changes. Some schools turn a blind eye even if they are reported the case. For every child who is hurt or killed by school bullies, not only the bully but a teacher should be held liable, charged and punished. And we need strong public sentiment to push for change.
