Do you agree that the K-ETA system should also be applied in Jeju island even if it’s a tourist dest

I understand the commercial need of discontinuing the K-ETA system for Jeju to promote the area as a tourist destination. Considering tourism as the key industry for Jeju, I also agree that removing the obstacle is essential. On top of that, I believe there is a need for increased security to move different cities from Jeju. From my experience, there is no screening procedure at the airport to move to other cities from the island. This step is more relaxed when using ferries. There is only a luggage check in case of airport crime. This trend indicates that it would be easy for a foreigner with a different intention to move to other cities. There are several controversies regarding the K-ETA system of unduly complex procedures and full of unnecessary documents such as the proof of USD 2,000 in the bank account even with the tourists. Therefore, there should be different steps and documents based on the purpose, but there should be an authorization.
