I think it\'s not always the case. Especially there are white lies. And there are tolerable lies too. White lies are more likely to bring good consequences. One of the examples of tolerable lies is saying \'let\'s see again someday\' instead of saying \'goodbye\' even if they don\'t think of making real appointment about it. These lies are so common that people know it often doesn\'t mean what it literally means so it doesn\'t bring a negative consequence that lies can bring.
